Facebook recently added a new section to Facebook pages called “Subscribed Events”. This allows your page followers to subscribe to your events, and receive an alert when an event is happening close to them.
If your business hold regular events, such as training, open events or conferences, this could be a really useful feature for your business.
Users will find the “Subscribe” button after clicking on the “Events” tab. See the Facebook example below with the “Subscribe” button highlighted in red:
Users that subscribe to your event notifications will also see your events in their Events Dashboard.
If you regularly post your events on your Facebook page, make sure to promote this feature to your followers so they will be notified the next time an event has been scheduled.
