Social media and content marketing

The client

The Royal York & Faulkner Hotel is a family-owned business in Sidmouth. As well as the hotel, the family also own a cafe-bar and spa.

The challenge

The owners were looking for someone to take on the social media management and content marketing for the three businesses.

The solution

I provided ongoing monthly support to maintain a social media and website presence to raise brand awareness and generate enquiries. Specifically, I:

  • Managed the three Facebook pages including posting, advertising and responding to comments and messages.
  • Made content updates to the hotel website and created landing pages to support advertising campaigns.
  • Wrote and posted blogs on each of the websites.
  • Designed, drafted and sent email updates and newsletters.

Outcome

Regular sharing of content across Facebook, email and the hotel website which generated inbound enquiries with little input required from the owners.
