How to get Google Reviews

Google Reviews are highly important for your business. They not only help with local SEO but instil trust and confidence in your business. Google Reviews help your business attract new customers and give them a reason to choose you over the competition. With the majority of search traffic coming from Google it's a good idea to focus on Google Reviews.

How to get Google Reviews

1. Create a Google My Business listing for your business

If you haven't already, you'll need to create your Google My Business listing: Google My Business

2. Generate a Google Review link for your business

There is a free handy tool that will create a Google Review URL for you: Google Review link generator.

All you need to do is type your business name, city, and postcode in the “Enter a location” field on the map and your review link will appear under the map. You can use this link to share with customers.

3. Invite customers to leave a Google Review

Ask your customers if they would be happy to write a review of your business and make it easier for them by sending the Google Review link. We wrote an earlier blog post on, "How to get customer testimonials" which has some useful tips on how to go about this.

4. Encourage further reviews

Add a link to your website and include it in your email footer.

Make generating reviews an ongoing process and you'll see the benefits in terms of increased website traffic and new business. If you have any tips to share, please add them in the comments below.
